Standard certification

Elevator standard certification is the official safety and technical approval issued by INSO-accredited inspection companies. It confirms the unit meets INSO 6303 requirements. Building completion (pāyān-kār) and unit separation records typically require this certificate.

Since 2016 every elevator must display a 10-digit national ID on the cabin plaque. Check certificate status at lift.inso.gov.ir or by texting the ID to 10001517. The certificate is valid for one solar year, then periodic inspection is required.

Atlas does not issue certificates — we prepare the file, ready the unit for inspection, and coordinate with the inspection company. When we handle installation or modernization, technical documentation is collected to standard from day one.

The certification file includes application forms, inspection contract, technical specifications, equipment approval, building permit copy, install contract, liability insurance, drawings and calculations, and a one-year maintenance contract. Owner and installer each supply part of the set — we clarify who prepares each document.

Before the inspector arrives: pit dry and lit, machine room door lockable, adequate shaft and machine room lighting, and safety tests (parachute, governor, emergency brake) completed. Failing the first visit usually means a repeat inspection fee — we run an internal pre-inspection to avoid that.

If Atlas handled installation, execution drawings, tests, and records come from the same project trail. For older units or installs by others, an initial visit maps technical condition and file gaps.
