Rosani is the gearless elevator motor brand of Roshd Sanat Niroo Co. — one of three core companies under the Roshd Sanat Group, alongside Roshd Sanat (industrial and power-plant EPC/PC/EP/C projects) and Tam Locomotive Aria (locomotive repair/rebuild and traction-motor manufacturing). The Roshd Sanat Group was founded in July 1990 as a technical-engineering company, and its internal departments gradually split into independent legal entities; Roshd Sanat Niroo emerged from that process as a maker of high-voltage and explosion-proof electric machines.
Drawing on more than three decades of experience designing and building electric machines, Roshd Sanat Niroo developed its gearless elevator-motor line with import substitution in mind. The line centers on five capacity-numbered models — ROSANI 600, 800, 1000, 1300, and 1600 — all built around a 320 mm sheave, 2:1 roping, and a 0.63–2.5 m/s speed range; only torque, power, and current scale as rated load rises from 480 to 1,200 kg. A 1:1-roping variant of the 600 and a disc-type, 8-person gearless motor with 1:1 roping (630 kg rated, 5,000 kg max static load) round out the catalogue.
